MALDEN, MA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The New England Coffee Café and Store will reopen its doors on Monday, September 14, 2026 marking the end of a nearly four-month closure and the start of a milestone year: the café’s 40th anniversary serving the Malden community.
The café closed on May 19 after a traffic accident caused structural damage to the building. Now repaired, it’s ready to welcome back longtime regulars and introduce new visitors to the freshly roasted coffee and baked goods that have made it a neighborhood fixture since 1986.
To mark the reopening, the New England Coffee sampling truck will be on-site from 9-11 AM ET, offering free coffee samples to everyone who stops by.
Located at 108 Charles St. in Malden, the café has served freshly roasted coffee, whole beans by the pound and baked goods to the local community for four decades. Beginning September 14, it resumes its regular hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The café remains closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Malden residents, longtime customers and coffee lovers from surrounding communities are invited to visit the café beginning September 14 to help celebrate 40 years of coffee and community.
