BlackRock Advisors, LLC announced today upcoming changes to the portfolio management team of BlackRock Enhanced Global Dividend Trust (NYSE: BOE) and BlackRock Enhanced International Dividend Trust (NYSE: BGY) (the “Funds”).
Effective immediately, the portfolio managers of the Funds are Zeshan Azam, Wendy Agnew, Kyle McClements, and Sinan Kunt. The biographies for Mr. Azam and Ms. Agnew are set forth below.
Zeshan Azam
Zeshan Azam is a Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager on BlackRock’s Global Core Equity Team. He joined BlackRock through the Citi Portfolio Solutions Powered by BlackRock (CxB) partnership, following more than 20 years at Citi Investment Management (CIM), where he held senior investment leadership roles overseeing global equity strategies. He previously led the management of Global Equity, International Equity, Islamic Equity and U.S. Large Cap Core strategies. His experience spans fundamental and quantitative research, portfolio management, asset allocation and risk oversight, and he served as a voting member of Citi Wealth’s Global Investment Committee. Zeshan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from New York University, a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Columbia University and an MBA from Pace University.
Wendy Agnew
Wendy Agnew is a Director and Co-Portfolio Manager on BlackRock’s Global Core Equity Team. She joined BlackRock through the Citi Portfolio Solutions Powered by BlackRock (CxB) partnership, having previously served as a portfolio manager at Citi Investment Management (CIM), where she managed international equity and thematic strategies, including International Equities, Global Multi-Thematic and Japan portfolios. Prior to joining Citi in 2020, Wendy held investment roles at GE Asset Management, Lone Pine Capital and U.S. Trust, spanning equity research and the management of International Equity, Japan and Asia-Pacific portfolios. She began her career at Morgan Stanley and also worked at Goldman Sachs. Wendy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is a CFA charterholder.
