Industry veteran brings three decades of integration, technical sales and business development experience as ACTALL expands in secure and complex environments
DENVER, CO, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Actall Corporation (“ACTALL”), a provider of Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) for secure environments and complex architecture, today announced the appointment of Barry Prestage as Business Development Director.
Prestage joins ACTALL as the company responds to growing demand for real-time location intelligence across security, safety and operational applications. His role will focus on strengthening business development within established correctional, custody, and healthcare markets, while supporting expansion into new secure environments where complex building architecture and reliable location data create similar operational requirements.
“Barry brings a combination of security industry knowledge, customer relationships and technical understanding that fits ACTALL’s focus on simplifying location and sensor intelligence in complex environments, looking beyond traditional security systems toward real-time awareness linking people, assets and their environments. Barry will help us build on our strong position in complex architecture while expanding that capability into a broader range of environments.” said Bob Hampe, President and CEO of ACTALL.
Prestage brings more than three decades of experience in the corrections and security markets. Most recently, he served as Corrections Vertical Director within Motorola Solutions’ Video Security and Access Control division. His career also includes business development roles focused on the corrections market at Pelco and more than 17 years with Norment Security Group. His experience covers access control, CCTV, alarm reporting, personal duress, perimeter intrusion detection and integrated electronic control systems for correctional facilities, courthouses and other secure environments.
Expanding beyond ACTALL’s traditional markets
ACTALL has built its business around location technology for environments where conventional RTLS approaches struggle, including correctional facilities, behavioral health facilities and other secure institutions.
ACTALL is now applying its experience in corrections and custody to a broader range of secure and operationally complex environments. Central to that expansion is the continued development of ACTALL HubSens™, ACTALL’s hardware-agnostic location engine, which allows organizations to bring location data from different, specialist technologies into a common software layer rather than depend on a single RTLS infrastructure.
Prestage will work with specifying partners, systems integrators and end users to develop opportunities across applications including staff safety, personnel location, automated mustering, restricted-zone monitoring and asset tracking. His role will also support wider adoption of Actall in sites where multiple location technologies, legacy systems and complex RF environments make a single-technology approach impractical.
“ACTALL has built deep experience solving location challenges in environments where security and reliability matter. I’m driven by the opportunity to take that experience much further, giving customers a way to use the right location technologies for their environment while bringing the resulting data together in one platform. I’m looking forward to helping ACTALL take that proposition into both existing and new markets.” said Barry Prestage, Business Development Director at ACTALL.
