AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In regard to recent information released by Parking Revenue Recovery Services, Inc. (“PRSS”), Municipal Parking Services (MPS) is issuing statements about important facts that were failed to be addressed.
- The patent office confirmed the validity of MPS US Patent No. 10,121,172, rejecting all invalidity arguments asserted in the reexamination. MPS has sued PRRS for infringement of the ‘172 patent. PRRS in a recent press release ignores that the patent office has again confirmed the validity of MPS’s ‘172 patent and continues to infringe that patent. The other reexam proceedings are not yet complete.
- The patent office also recently allowed US Patent No. 12,688,734 over all the prior art asserted in the pending reexams. In July, MPS also sued PRRS for infringement of this patent. In addition, the patent office continues to allow claims pending in multiple additional patent applications. In each of these pending applications, the patent office allowed the claims over the prior art that asserted in all the reexamination proceedings.
